Not that cool but I did haul a '63 Cad backwards once with the engine weight behind the axles. I didn't enjoy it much. Should have gone through a McDonalds drive through.

I still have a spark plug cleaner, a little sand blaster. What really goes bad with most spark plugs ? They used to sell rebuilt batteries too. They would remove a bad cell and put in a good used one.

  20. I had a car that fouled plugs faster than they would wear out. I got really good at pulling, cleaning with one of those and then reinstalling them on it.

I think I still have one that I bought in the late 70's, 12 volt with alligator clips, powered it up with my Craftsman battery charger, I thought it was the coolest invention, right up there with indoor plumbing!

They still do at least at Advance Auto. They come with a 90 day warranty, but are about a third as expensive as a new battery. I had one last over a year before it started losing voltage over time. I moved it from under hood to into the garage and charge it up before I need to use it.

  24. I went through the McDonald’s drive through in Whitecourt Alberta with my ‘64 Chrysler on a trailer, my daughters thought I was nuts.
