Technical Trunk lid identification-- Whats it for?

I came across this trunk lid in a stash of parts I have, but don't know what exactly it fits. I think it is late 30's or 40's GM, does anyone out there know for sure?

looks like 41-48 Chevy coupe.

 

...I can help narrow it down a bit, it's not a 39 Chevy lid, here's a 39 Chev cpe lid...bottom 2 pics, top pics are 47-8 Chev cpe, which yours looks like, 41's didn't have the teardrop shaped trim above the deck handle.

 

Not a 1940 Chevy.

 

Where the hinges bolt on is recessed, so none of the lids pictured match. Maybe Olds?

Rusty1 you wouldn't happen to know we're to find a 39 chevrolet coupe trunk lid would you ? My daily driver got rear-ended this week
