Hello all, I purchased my first home a couple years ago. It came with a dozen vintage vehicles and two rooms + two outbuildings filled with parts. The link below is a google album with hundreds of photos of the items and vehicles I'm looking to rehome. I've started craigslisting items and was referred here for help identifying some of the tougher pieces.

The previous owner was primarily interested in 40's and 50's olds but has a bit of GM/Chevy mixed in as well. The 55 GMC 100 was his daily driver. The orange wrecker was used to move the vehicles in and out of the property. The 80's F-250 and the Orange Chevy Pickup were both supposedly running. The 'Headhunter' racecar is seized but we want to fix it up and run it ourselves. All stopped being driven about 5-6 years ago and don't currently run. I have titles for almost all of the vehicles.

If anyone can volunteer for me to reach out when I have pictures of pieces I can't identify please let me know. Engine parts I can usually track down via numbers but a lot of things aren't labeled.

If you see something you'd like to make an offer on feel free. I'm near SeaTac Airport outside Seattle, can ship reasonably sized things.

Things I've started to list can be found here:

I uploaded pictures of some of the vehicles and a couple of some parts I'm currently trying to identify. Thanks in advance!

That's a 26-27 model T turtle deck and cowl in the 5th picture, and a 26-27 T roadster or roadster pickup cab in the last pic. That turtle deck is a really desirable piece, especially if that white panel is the trunk lid for it.

I know a lot of people hate Facebook, and for good reason. But I'm going to suggest you join it if you haven't already, for two reasons. One, there is a very good group on there for identifying vintage auto parts. Just post one thing at a time and don't overwhelm them with too many pictures at once, you'll get a ton of answers. I consider myself really good at IDing stuff and a couple of those guys are light years beyond me.

Second is, Craigslist is pretty dead, Marketplace has a lot more buyers. Sure, there's a lot more bullshitters too, but if you really want to move some metal, Marketplace is the spot to be.

Lastly, I love the topper on that blue stepside, that is a treasure!

Thank you, that's exactly what those are! I do have an old Facebook account I haven't used much but maybe I'll have to give it a go for this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah that GMC is a really cool setup.

Any chance these are related? Were in the same pile as the other Model T bits.

Those definitely are not T roadster, those top pieces look very similar to the folding top frame on my '41 Cadillac convertible. I'm guessing those are 40's or early 50's GM convertible of some kind. Hard to say for sure though, the best ID would be to look for casting numbers on the bigger cast pieces.

Years ago I had a friend who had to sell all of his Fathers stuff. A huge amount.
He put piles of stuff on a pallet and sold it by the pallet load.
You want one item you take the whole pallet

I talked to an auction house and they were going to do a similar route for most of the parts. But I feel like I can get better prices taking my time with it. If I get desperate for the space I'll probably do this though, thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks, he had one 40's era Oldsmobile convertible so going to see if they match that one, couldn't find any casting numbers.
Thanks again for help on the Roadster parts, looks like that door does fit, took some better pics with all the parts I think are part of it. The last two pics I'm very unsure of but were in the same pile so keeping together for now. Threw them all on CL for $1000 OBO, think that's reasonable? From my quick googling I saw people asking $800 for just the main body piece but in better shape.

@rjb dayum, that's kinda like hitting the lotto...I didn't even have a building on my land...LOL

One thing I am looking for that you may have is a Carter 3211S, it's the carb for the '54-'62 235, not sure if one exists in those carbs or not. Do you know?

Thanks, it's been crazy, house needed a lot of work but now it's starting to look good and this stuff is a huge bonus on top of it.

Not currently aware of that carb but I have seen some Carter carbs so will make note of the 3211S and let you know if I see one.

That tunnel ram is for the tall deck Oldsmobiles, those would be the 400, 425 and 455 cu in displacement engines. Also, that Accel distributor is for late Olds.

I think that's a great deal for that T, I wouldn't take a penny less. I've seen guys spend that on a very nice turtle deck. This one maybe isn't super clean but it's fixable, making the collection a bargain. Looks like you have one piece of sheetmetal which is an interior cab rear window piece from a 40's era pickup truck on the pile too, in front of that cowl.

I would not be surprised if those folding top pieces are from that 40's Oldsmobile, that's what they look like. There should be a header and a few long, arched steel pieces too to complete the setup.
