  1. @etwheels I tried to talk to you at GNRS last year about kidney bean style wheels in 5 on 5 1/2 for my coupe. You handed me a sticker and said you were too busy to talk. How about now?

I'd be in for 16" fronts at 4" wide and a 18" rear at 5-7" wide.

    What he said!
That’s what I’d go for as well, but I’d prefer them at 5 on 4.5” bp so I’d don’t have to change anything.

i am working on the 3d for the wheels now, borrowed an 18 from a customer, and have the derby cap and a 40 cap.
hope to have designs done before Christmas. initial lug patterns will be 4.5 and 5.5 dual drill. Also looking at careful design so it can be widened or narrowed with a spun rim half. Undecided if they will all be black or just in prime ready for you to paint the color and sheen desired.

Double bolt pattern kills it for me. Might want to use them without caps sometimes and wouldn’t want the extra holes screaming “repro” at me.

I had a similar experience at the GNRS quite a few years ago.

  10. Drill to purchasers desired pattern, dual pattern wrecks the look if you don't want to run caps.

    Hey, why dual bolt pattern?

I would love to see these drill to order.

The centers are likely to look like this anyway…while dual bolt patterns would look worse, I don’t think I’d want to run this without a hubcap in any case.

If I bought a wheel like Anderson showed, I’d have my buddy write a program to carve the innies and outies around the lugs so it looks more like Kelsey Hayes made it. Not sure why the manufacturer can’t do that.

I guess you could have someone machine out the center section of a normal rim and secure that in place to hide the dual bolt pattern.........

I have 18 inch repos on the back than had Mike Curtis make me some 15 inch for the front because I wanted a real small tire,Using 41 hubcaps that got painted to make center smaller 20211205_151808.jpg

  18. I would suggest a 16 x 3.5 front wheels or a 4". I like my fronts to look like hotrod wheels instead of big wide truck rims.

Been awhile since he's been on here. Project a no go? Too busy to post? Who knows.

I'd be interested in a set of 18s, but only if they are single bolt pattern. Not everyone wants to run caps all the time.

This car is debuting at the roadster show this weekend…it’s wearing 18” and 17” “divcos” machined by Mike Curtis. The rears are more “deep dish” than originals or the aftermarket ones to help push the tire away from the body.

Nothing has changed here other than it sounds like Mike Curtis is your best hope
