I posted this picture in another thread but I'm wondering what the front wheels on this dragster are from. Willys? You can zoom in on this picture really good to see detail.

They look like 40 Ford with big holes drilled into them.

When I zoom in, my eyes keeps going towards the Ardun heads... does look like '40 Ford centers on very narrow hoops. There are nubs for the center cap, instead of clips.

I agree, the 4 little Ford hub cap nubs are visible.
Not sure what the goofy center piece is.

Look at the hub on the other side, looks like a 40 Ford hub with 5.5” bolt pattern. The wheel has the same shape, hubcap nubs, and vents like a 40’s Ford does. It does look very narrow to me, so my guess is a 40 Ford V8-60 wheel. With holes drilled in it.

^^^^^ Missing the nubs for hub cap. Sure looks 40’s Ford as already mentioned. IMG_3429.jpeg

And the hub in the pic has the screw on cap like a 40 Ford too.

Much like @Speed Gems, I was thinking Willys. Nonetheless, here's Ollie O's rig.

    Is this wheel for sale?

OP's wheel is definitely a 16" 40-48 Ford wheel with holes drilled in it

The holes in the wheels on the dragster, are round, the holes in the wheel on the Mercury have an elongated oval shape.

Early Jaguar ( 50's ) had wheels like that. They had 5 X 5.5 inch bolt pattern and with factory holes in them.
A friend had them on his 32 ford rod years ago. They were rare in the 60's
