Got dangerously close today. It’s always something isn’t it? Needed to reroute a brake and trans cooler line then we’ll be in business. Hopefully tomorrow!
Ooh, that's pretty. And the reshaped rear wheel opening really looks good with paint on it, you can really see it now.
Wish I had the money, talent, and patience for a build like that. Actually I lack all three. Really grrrrrreat looking peoject. Jack
ha that would sure be somethin! im happy with how everything is turning out but im not the best welder or fabricator. some parts of this build fall into the “good from afar, but far from good” category.
I was blown away by the dash, that's gonna be so great in there! Glad to see JC Auto was able to help out with the gauges, they can be time-consuming to restore for a novice.
JC auto did a bang up job. Really impressed with the work and how much time they were willing to spend on the phone.
Was one of those weekends! Got a crash course in wiring relays correctly by doing things incorrectly first. Wired up a horn relay and patted myself on the back because it seemed easy. Horn stuck blaring on. Okay where is it grounding out? Hour or so later with no luck when it came to me…My rebel wire harness has a horn relay already installed and I put ANOTHER one in series because I thought I was smarter than the instructions Second issue. My neutral safety switch is wired through the electronic push button shifter and requires a relay. I grabbed power for the relay from the unused AC/Heater circuit. Go to turn the car over and no cranking…Pace around the car and shop scratching my head only to realize the ac heater circuit is wired as ACC so when I turn the ignition switch to start position it was cutting power to the relay and opening the starter circuit. good times. 90% of things working. need to start the car to check the fuel, temp, and volt gauges and we should be in business.
