    EDDIEMAYER QUESTION
    Hi everyone I reasently purchased an early set with EDDIEMAYER equipment .
    I have never seen that type of air cleaner smoth style I can’t see any marks of grinding or so? Is this type original style? IMG_1710.jpeg

    I run one of these air cleaners on my 1929 coupe. It works absolutely great. These were cast many years ago by Floyd Hulegard who resided in the Pacific Northwest, Oregon I believe. Floyd Hulegard had a massive Ford flathead intake collection that now resides in Nebraska at the Speedway museum. Floyd cast up maybe 2 dozen of these air cleaners. They are very hard to find and quite valuable. They have become real collectors items. The last one I saw on that familiar auction site brought about $750. Eddie Meyer never did make an air cleaner but probably should have ,so any air cleaner you see with the Eddie Meyer Hollywood logo on it is a reproduction.

    Not a “reproduction” at all. Just a new part with Eddie Meyer name for the cachet points...
