  1. Picked this up today

around $18 a quartish. Under $40 for a gallonish (gallon can anyway)
Did better than I expected. Sanded better than real Bondo and was creamier.
Spread much better than the other cheap stuff I’ve used.
did a first coat and shaped with 40 then 80. No major paper issues. Very little pinholes.
Added a touch of resin for a final skim. Was a little tacky at first but sanded good.

Feathered nicely into the 1964 gel coat. Metal? Don’t know yet.
I’d buy it again. Probably will purchase this for school for students to practice with. It’s a little more than the bottom line 3m filler we’re using for practice but this spreads more like a higher priced filler.
Is it better than Rage gold or equivalent?
I don’t think so. But it lists at $37 per gal at the chain parts store. Would be around 20% less at jobber.
there’s an upgraded version for a few bucks more that I have used and it worked out fine as well.

Your results may vary from mine.

I’ve also used it. Good enough for my needs and good price.

  3. Thank you Anthony, that looks like some good stuff. When I was in high school, graduated in 1992, my auto body instructor used supplies from our local NAPA store. The two brands of filler I remember were Micro Lite and Cuz. I believe they were both NAPA brand products.

    used as guide coat

the pinholes to the left was the worst over the deal. I blame user error. Got a phone call mid wipe in that area I had to answer.

I've used the bedliner and the primer they offer. Happy with both.
Seems they were bought in '21 by Axalta. From the press release.
