@40ragtopdown , the spirit of 76 should probably go in one of the OT threads.
I didn't flag it, but someone is going to.

  2. Purple with red wheels. This car showed up at Paso about 25 or so years ago. Really cool simple car. Keith Weesner in the passenger seat. I heard, and maybe it was Keith that I heard it from, that the car sold for about $3500.00.

@Fat ASS Whitewalls Thanks for the background. It sure looks right in the picture.
At first, I thought it was an old pic, but then I figured it was more modern just shot old style.

What is it that people do to these images to make the colors so extreme. I see it everywhere, can’t say I like it. The original image was just fine.

Did some searches for dan collins T bucket, and didn't come up with much. Here's one from here in a trad buckets thread.

My buddy Rob here in Detroit bought Dan’s T-bucket from him…here he is with it back in 2000 at a show in Royal Oak, Michigan

Just out of curiosity, what is it that makes that car OT?

HAMB is 1965 and older. The paint screams mid 70s. If you were around then, the flag paint and the smiley face were omnipresent. Tunnel ram is later than 65. 15x10 rear wheels are post 65. Front and rear tires appear to be radials. Small block Ford was out by 65, but not often used then. Big headlights weren't a thing in the early 60s. I'm not opposed to this, heck I started one of the OT threads on Ts. It just has cues that date it past the cutoff.

  13. That car could be an Andy's instant "T". The headlight bracket and fenders are a clue. I don't remember one painted this way, or with a Ford, but I obviously didn't see all of them. Maybe Andy's daughter can comment on it. Her name on here is Hotrod Gal, I think.

@Fat ASS Whitewalls Could be. I can't spot different companies as well as I'd like.
Again, I'm not against it, just answering why.

  15. Here's Andy's AMBR car. Note headlight bracket and fenders.

I remember the Dan Collins T from York NSRA many years ago. It really was, (maybe still is), a stunning car with the Bimini top. So nicely detailed as well. Nothing special. Just very well done.

Briging up the question again. Is there a year break for the straight VS angled windshield posts?
I spent a little time this morning trying to nail this down. I've found 1922 stock both ways, so I don't know if that was when it happened or just what the restorer had. Maybe roadster/RPU/Touring? Mid year change?
