That is an amazing looking powerplant, any idea what it is? Looks like a 1920s (or older) aircraft engine.
Nice boat! Thanks for posting. Interesting jet pump....What make is it? You don't see those carbs everyday.
I believe it's a Hamilton pump. I think the side draft carbs are the same as on the '53-4 inline 6 corvettes.
FWIW, that should be a Ford Y-Block and the 2x2 intake was used on those Buehlers originally ....a great set up, and Yup that's a Hamilton 3 stage jet pump.
My boat had been in storage at my mom’s place for too long. I brought it home and cleaned it up and am going to be using it next summer
the floor is gl*** over wood, but the top is just gl***, original metalflake gelcoat. it has never been painted
Beautiful Rayson! Just to clarify, the Rayson is a gl*** hull (bottom) and deck. The parts are hand laminated in the molds then the wood pieces like floor, stringers, transom, as well as the deck wood like gunwale, dash and the plywood under the flat part of the deck are added during the lamination process. That Campbell is a traditional gl*** over wood constructed hull, also a beautiful boat. I have a neighbor that has a early gl*** Howard with a 392 Hemi for power. Hasn't seen the light of day in over 30 years but is in museum quality condition. Also all original metalflake gel.
