I would like to offer my thanks to all those involved with bringing back this great publication.

we’ve all seen great magazines fall victim to the internet and its ease of viewing the subject of our hobby - but I for one much prefer the feel of a publication in my hand.

Good quality will never replace instant gratification

As a lifetime subscriber I’ve said it before, I’m with them to the end, either theirs or mine.

This is GREAT NEWS! After feeling the pain of losing Hot Rod Deluxe as well as RJ from Covid, we all can finally receive the BEST traditional hot rod mag to look forward to in the mail! I'm stoked!!

  17. Well, here I am again, the PITA that started this thread.....lol........I ended up with 2 copies of # 86......the 32 3w coupe on the cover & the 40 Sedan Delivery on the cover.....I don't need 2 copies so happy to sell either one but not both to anyone in Oztralia who wants a copy, both perfect condition, the Coupe copy has been gently read once........$50.00 Australian incl registered postage in Australia........call me direct on 02 6642 5963 if interested.........Andy Douglas

  18. I've yet to receive mine, I had 2 left on my subscription. I have written a few very polite emails, comments here on HAMB, even made a few phone calls. At one point I even produced a copy of the check my wife wrote.

Steve Coonan called me a few days ago.
He had some questions about a car they are doing an article on in the next issue.
    He's working on it.

A buddy here in Canada just got his #86 end of last week so TRJ is still getting caught up.

I'm a lifetime subscriber and get mine delivered to my USPS PO BOX in upstate NY, I got #86 back in October IIRC.

    Looking forward to #87!

From the TRJ email sent to subscribers on July 31st.... hope it's coming soon!

"TRJ #87 is nearing completion, and it’s really turning out nicely. Among the features are the famed Tom Hocker Barris Kustom Forty Ford, Steve Wertheimer’s Bill Marshall-built survivor Deuce roadster photographed alongside the restored Ian Cusey roadster owned by “Flattop Bob” Owens, an in-depth look at Cody Walls’ award-winning ’49 Buick custom and the Pete Eastwood-restored “Samurai” Fuel Dragster which raced in Japan in the '60s. We also take a look at Jack Chisenhall’s Red Ram Hemi speed parts, and veteran TRJ contributor Jay Fitzhugh examines the details that make good rods and customs great. We expect to have this issue at the printer shortly and in your hands in early fall."
