Hot Rods What's this out of?

I've got this windshield, complete, but don't know what it is ! It's 43 7/8" wide at the join piece, 13 1/2" tall ( outside to outsides). Doesn't fit a 35/36 closed car , 35/36 cabriolet, 35/ 36 pickup. Any ideas ? Got it for my 35 cab but doesn't fit . HELP !!!

 

Are you sure that isnt 35/6 pickup?

 

You should make your photos full image. Plus a photo of the back side showing the holes for mounting the hinges might help

 

'35 Dodge or Plymouth?

 

I’m putting my money on ‘35 Plymouth. The tell for me is shown on this photo, the location of the split between the top and bottom pieces of the frame is lower than the mid-point and the ‘35 Plymouth frame was the same.
The split is just above the upper red line.

I have one of these too...I saw it at a swap meet for a ridiculously low price and thought it was for a '35-36 Ford (which I was building at the time)...SCORE!!! Thinks I. Got it home put it in place and WTF! Still got it...it's in my "to go to a swap meet one day" pile.

 

Did the same thing. I had a 35 ford pickup got the windshield frame cheap and it didn't fit. Sold it to a guy who said it was for a Plymouth.

 

Fordors , that measurement on this one is 6 1/4"

 

6 1/4" on mine.

 

Sorry, can’t help with that measurement, that Plymouth was sold by my friend 40 years ago.
