    hi,
i'm working on my 1937 ford panel. sometime in it's life prior to my owning it, the brakes were upgraded to eccentric type. i would like to replace the parts in the attached photo but i'm having some trouble finding them.
anyone know where they may be available? also i think they are 39-48. is that correct?
    thanks

Those parts are for '39 to '41 brakes. Try C&G Ford Parts.

What’s wrong with the parts? Is the brass loose on the stud or in the shoe? It might be the only part that needs replaced.

    hi thanks for the replies.
    C&G had them.
loose brass in one shoe, the anchor pin threads are in bad shape they were pretty reasonable so i replaced them. $11.00 for a pair.
how do the brass inserts stay secure? are they tapered?
one is out and one is in and i'm not sure how they stay in there. or how new ones are installed.
    thanks.

The brass fits in the hole in the shoe. The shoe fits tight to the backing plate on one side and the tie bar captures it on the other side. The stud with the flats goes through and is tightened to keep the brass from turning as the shoe moves to do its work. If the shoe is thicker than the brass, as some of the poor repro shoes are, the system won’t work properly. Might need to grind the surface of the shoe at the pivot hole to thinner than the brass.

Just to show what’s out there and how they all differ. D&L looks the closest to originals. IMG_3552.png

    well here is a update.
i had replaced the wheel cylinders which was the start of this issue. the leaking brake fluid caused the paint to peel off everything and as a result, it was a mess and made the adjusters difficult to turn.
i took everything apart, cleaned it all up and replaced the anchor pins and the springs. it all works fine but now i can't get the drum on. i know that all 4 points of adjustment are in the down or smallest setting because i can see everything move but the drum wont go on.
    ant suggestions?

New shoes? Sometimes they come oversized. And some of the repros are not made correctly and are a little off center.
