    John,
Sorry but I am not understanding the question.
AA/FD, or AA/FA, or AA/FC would be a supercharged car on fuel. A single "A" would be injected.
There is a cl*** that would be a supercharged dragster on Alky would race an injected car on fuel.
    Does this answer your inquiry?

Anyone remember reading about the "Corvette" curse?! Seems earlier 'Vette funnies were always being wrecked, the Beach City Corvette being one of the more notorious, catching fire and running off strip onto freeway, and pilot got a ticket!! It seems the Datsun Z bodied floppers suffered the same fate as the Vettes.

Around 1975ish was last time I recall seeing scales used for Cl***es , @ local track that open in 51, scales stayed standing until maybe 94 , but not used since around 77.

This might help answer questions but it will also bring up questions,
    Cl***es .
    @ start there was only a few National events in a year , 4 or 5 ,
Match racing , track to track ,
state to state 3 or 4 times a week across
    U S ,
    Different tracks different cl***es
    Rules ,
Not like present drag racing ,
    Around Late 1969 /1970 A stander Rule made ,
Beginning of modern Drag racing ,

One of the Rules was, @ end of a qualifying , end of Day No race cars
Could be on property /premises wants
Gates closed, This is why you see
pic 's of Racers working on there cars in
Hotel parking lot side of the road etc.

In finales , FED racing a 15 sec in other lane & start of slower car 200-300 foot down track , FED @ starting line ,
    FED rung 1320 feet
    Slower running 1,000 feet .

    NHRA Super Nationals
    1970-73 ,
    Also covers early 60s ,
    Tree
    Lights
    Rules
Over Night cars band by new ruels
    Start line
    Etc.

Went to Pomona for the Finals few weeks back and I thought this is worth a mention.... I remember in the 70's Gordie Bonin ran 240 mph and had the nickname "240 Gordie"

This pic is from Great Lakes Dragaway. This picture is such a throwback to going with dad when i was a kid. I loved goin there for night racing and seeing the staging beams for the old Chrondek timers, and the big "W" win lights.
