Thank you. If it was half as large as I would expect, you got to see a great show.

 

It was good about the same size as usual. Looks like folks from out of state drove in. The Tshirt line was insanely long. I asked a buddy to get me a poster. I'm Already home and working on cars! I got in at 7am and was out about 9:30. The line in at 9:30 was getting long.

F100 was super cool. I saw it driving at Halloween. the lowrider Riviera was probably the best show with the craziest paint coolest stance, and most finished looking

And some pics from moving the cars around yesterday. Took the folks out for a ride in both the convertibles.

 

Thanks for sharing. So much eye candy there. Especially lovin’ that ‘36 roadster, ‘50 Merc with the big hooters and ‘42+ Chevy “ roadster “ pickup.

Thanks, Abe! Love all the Customs which you don’t see in any quan***y unless it’s a show such as this. This was/is for sale on Marketplace, notice the cab top in the bed.

 

A Ranchero done right with matching rear wheel arches, seaweeds and scallops are a Plus.

 

40 years ago my dad wanted to give me one of these and I wasn’t interested. Stupid kid with no imagination.

The Mooneyes show was not..."The Last" Irwindale show. It was the last Mooneyes AT Irwindale show.
Sunday (the next day) was drag race.

Monday was the first drag strip, teardown day !

Most everything is going to Kern County, to be added to Kevin Harvick's raceway.

The oval track has one more race before it's...end.

Visually the tilted rear fenders bother me on that white truck. As an owner of one of these trucks I know exactly why they did it, it just throws off the lines in my eye. Otherwise I really dig it.

 

It's the last Mooneyes Christmas show at Irwindale.
I won't be driving for Kernville for shows..

We found 2 grilles and a bumper for his wife's car.
