Technical Brake question

    That looks like the typical GM calipers are required, which makes some sense as they're overwhelmingly the most common calipers in disc conversions.

    Yeah, something like that! I'm not knowledgeable about the variants and am aware of quick takeup versions that seem to cause problems.

    I think generically they're known as GM metric calipers.

    A measurement of the distance between the guide pin holes would pin it down. I think the 70s "big" caliper and the newer "metric"calipers are different.

  8. Caliper bracket looks like one I used, 70 Chevelle/Monte Carlo.

    Measure the distance between those threaded pin holes.

    They will tell the tale.
