Maybe I should have left "great truck" alone. IMG_1725.jpg

One of the best looking of this era Dodge pickup I've seen. Would enjoy seeing more pictures. I see what looks to be a 37' hood and a 35' cab (unless suicide doors were added to a 36-37 cab). Love the custom filler added between the running boards and cab. Nice truck!

    Hello,

One day, my wife looks up ahead of us and sees this cool old Ford truck in the turning lane. It just happens to be the same way we are going, but several quick photos from my digital camera were taken, when no traffic was near us.

We were on our way to do some errands and as luck would be with us, one of the nice old trucks in our coastal area popped up and we were always happy to see them still cruising around.

We wanted to follow it to its destination, but we had to be at a small store that was heading for the lunch hour and we would get there just before, if we kept going. So, the truck turned off and we continued on to our final destination.

With the harsh freeway sounds, it was hard to hear what the motor sounded like. But, we probably will see it again, since this is the second time we had seen it cruising around. The last time it was coming towards our car in the oncoming lane, so we got a glance at it. This time, at least we got a close up photo and an action one, too. It was too bad I could not turn on the video portion of my digital camera. YRMV

That intersection of the area roads is a very narrow hectic and overly crowded place, so all eyes had to be on the cars getting close to us. But, my wife was able to shoot one photo out of our window and captured the old blue truck going to another street and perhaps the popular destination, a local hardware store.
