Most people will tell me I'm full of shit, but my buddy Russ was rather productive this weekend. You may remember the photoshop I requested a couple weeks ago, well Russ doesn't mess around much. He turned his 36 Hudson into a 3 window and painted the spacetruck both this weekend. Here is the Hudson thursday night with the top cut off.
Another view of the rear. It was/is far from done, and the other side still needed welded up (it is done now though) but it was an amazing transformation in 2 days. He does this after work too, it is not what he does all day.
Nice job! TOTALLY changes the car! BADASS!!!! Wish I had friends like that. My pals come over and watch me work and drink all my beer.
Yeah he drinks all of my beer, but that is a good thing. The more he drinks the more motivated and faster he gets. Wierd really. I forgot the before pic.
I have a buddy who becomes a much better billiards player with the more booze he ingests, but this is something else. Looking good.

[/ QUOTE ] At least he works for his beer! The more I look at that, the cooler it gets. Oh, if Russ gets bored, I got a truck load of beer and a more door '49 Merc that needs help.
I like the look, but it dosn't look like it got chopped much in the front. Is it just me or the pictures and the position of the car?--TV
TV, The way I read it, it wasn't chopped at all. The rear half of the roof was just moved forward (sounds easy when you say it like that )
I was over there last night and got a better picture from the front. The back part of the window frame on the door is a modified Lincoln Zephyr door piece. A couple weeks ago on a Sunday he was talking about ordering a M2 front end. I talked to him on the Thursday of the same week and he said he got his front end. I asked if he needed help putting it in. He said, no I already have it in.
Man, that guy is ambitious. Imagine what the HAMB would be like if we all had that ambition (and talent). At this rate, he'll have it painted and upholstered by the end of next week!!
On the front fender of the last pic I see he painted the radius upward. I hope he's not gonna cut the wheelwell up. That's one of the things that makes those Terraplane's so cool. alchemy
