I bought couple gallons of Awesome. Worked great cleaning a Q jet (top) Air horn. Poured a half gallon in a plastic kitchen tub and just scrubbed with a tooth brush. Worked frickin great and fast

Has anyone boiled Awesume in a pot like a hot tank. I wonder if it will foam up, over flow and make a big fuggin mess.

I can't comment on Awesome, but I do heat and also boil Simple Green with no issues. I use a single burner electric hot plate and a stainless stock pot. Usually use the Simple Green full strength for stuff I want really clean.

Totally awesome is the best cleaner ever. And cheap too. I even use it to spray on laundry stains. Works on everything but dried paint.
Have not heated it but I’d give it a go.
Let us know if you blow up. :)

How would this be for soaking carburetor parts for rebuilding? Anyone had any experience with it?

I learned a trick with lemon juice in a pot of water, and boil that from motorcycle guys. Works great. Caveat it will pull off a zinc coating if it has one

Usually cleaners work better warm. I have an old crock pot I use for this. I throw in some Phosphate free TSP in water for degreasing small parts and fasteners before zinc plating them.

I've been thinking about putting the Totally Awesome cleaner in my solvent tank as it is cheap enough to do it. I use it to clean parts and use it in the house to do squirt bottle cleaning. I haven't tried cooking a carb in it though or soaking one in it.

I would try a s**** carb body. Some chemicals don’t play well with zinc die cast.
