Remote control Battleship Pittsburgh! I was told when I purchased it 30 years ago she was built for the movie Harm's Way with John Wayne . And also was built from the original plans of the Pittsburgh which I also have. The plans roll out to about 6 ft long. Pittsburgh was in numerous battles in World War II and was also caught in a typhoon in the South China Sea which ripped 60 ft of her bow off. She was able to limp into Pearl Harbor and another ship found her bow and towed it to Pearl where it was reattached. She is 7 ft long and has a fibergl*** hull full of shotgun LED pellets for ballast. Her guns are made out of cells which look like 30 odd 6 that have been drilled for glow plugs. So you can load and fire her big guns. She has two propellers on the left, two on the right which can be controlled separately. Her power comes from two battery packs used to keep aircraft gauges powered. She knife through the wave of a p***ing b*** boat like a true battleship. It's going to need new batteries and the dust cleaned off her. She's been in mothballs since the Falkland War.
