I took my 54 Chevy pickup in for an alignment today because I had to recently replace the steering rack. Found that the driver's side upper control arm bushings are shot after 9K miles and also both tie-rod ends! Probably Chinese stuff. Any suggestions on who makes a good replacement bushing? Or am I wishing for the impossible? Thanks in advance for any responses. Larry
Oh...that BEST question again !! So how do you call something the...best...if everyone has their own...best ? Mike
the kit is a Chinese no name brand from Speedway. I would prefer rubber bushings but don't know of anyone selling them. I'll talk to Pete & Jakes and see if they have anything. MikeVV- do you have a best?? Or at least a good quality suggestion?
It most certainly doesn't use stock Must II bushings if you have tubular arms. So you will need to figure out who made the arms, and get from them. Or measure carefully and see if you can find some that will work. Being a Chinese no-name kit from Speedway, that seems a good place to start if they sell replacement bushings.
best bet is to purchase a verniers with digital readout in metric and imperial.then after measuring what u need you can compare and order up what you need.try talking to heidts the fat man and energy suspension
anyone know where i can purchase the inner seal on m2 hub/rotor.its the shallow seal .whats the part number so i can order it up without buying bearings as well.ive new timkin bearings ready to go in.thanx
