    This post is gonna be a big one. I hope your computers don't sieze up and die from all the pictures!

    I visited my friend Ed "Fast Eddie" Lepold yesterday and brought my camera along.

    Basically all you need to know about him, is that he builds really *****in cars.

    He has been into this **** since the early days.

    Thanks for sharing those pics, that 5window is the bomb! Just choked on my Shake and Bake when I saw that kustom paint job. That car is a time machine for Chris' sake. 50 coats of laquer!!:eek: any cracks??
    Merc and Pickem-up are quite tasty as well. Love your pals garage.

    Was that La Salle ever shown in Canada? I have a twenty year old photo somewhere of something very similar at an indoor show in either Saskatoon or Winnipeg.... There can't be two of them??

    Mr57, i really couldnt tell you if the lasalle was ever in canada. It used to be candy apple red. Then im guessing in the 70s he gave it the phsycadelic paint job.

    Monsterflake, he is from E. St. Louis originally. He lives in fairview now.

    The truck was build by John McNally of Saint Petersburg, Florida. It had an Olds Toronado drivetrain. John helped build the Bill Cushenbery 1940 Ford "El Matador" and had just finished restoring it when it burned after a propane tank explosion destroyed his garage workshop.
