How about this. Being I have moved from the shop in town and moved everything home space is tight. I have been gathering all the carburetor stuff I have collected over the years to get it on the market and out of my hair.

You wouldn't happen to have a couple of 1850s to get rid of, would you?

Between that and the top flange that's been welded on, it screams injection.

Looks like a duel quad tunnel ram, and the small holes are for nitrous.

You probably know this, the rest of yous that don't, Chevrolet planned to put the 327/365 hp(L76) engine in 1964 Chevelles', GM literature shows it as an option but nobody has verified documentation that any were actually built.
Would have been a hot seller!

Funny that you bring that up, atleast to me anyway. My Dad was a line mechanic for Chevy in 1965, and ordered a L-79/4 speed Malibu SS, Maderia Maroon with a black interior. The FIRST thing he did, even before delivery, was swap to a 30-30 cam and put a 4.56 gear and posi unit in it, all covered under warranty, of course. Here it is, almost 60 years later, and tales of how quick that car was are still flying around the town he grew up in! So that L-76 option would have been a BIG seller if it was ever released.

Since this is an induction thread I thought I'd show the carburetor version of the big hp Corvette 327 that Lou posted.

  22. Here's an unusual setup someone is building, reverse flow twin blown big block chevy. He says special ground cam reversing the intake and exhaust because the blowers will push through a 2.35 valve better than a 1.19

    Hello,

A recent sighting of an Edlebrock Supercharger in a custom 50 Ford sedan.
    upload_2024-12-30_2-14-51.png
A bolt on kit with warranty: Edelbrock 1551, E-Force 122 Super charger Kit

"Edelbrock E-Force supercharger kits use a positive displacement supercharger that is capable of producing over 500 hp. These kits include the supercharger with Eaton internals, a manifold, drive pulleys, a belt, and all necessary items for installation. Edelbrock E-Force superchargers are designed to provide more horsepower per pound of boost than their competitors, from off-idle through the rest of the rpm range. Plus, their internal bypass valve practically eliminates parasitic loss, consuming less than 1/3 of one horsepower at 60 mph."

    Jnaki

A street supercharger with bolt on applications. What is better than that? The complete setup is provided and results are superior to stock. Also, it could be hidden under the closed hood... YRMV
