The '32 Ford truck cab with doors hung and with latches, with or without a cowl vent is: &14,499.00. Window regulators, door handles, and gl*** is not included. Also, the cab doesn't include a dash, or a firewall. The cost of a cab & bed is $17,000.00.

It's very nice too. Same quality as their 5-window coupe body, and like the coupe, all stock Ford stuff fits it.

  2. Thanks sanfordsotherson, That's all we were looking for back on top of Page 1. Personally I don't think that price is out of line at all. Were I going to step up for one and without a Firewall I would want to see my stock Ford unit installed in place just to be sure it fits as well as they say.

Does that bring down the price of an original ?

I like it...They just need to offer it with a '34 firewall so anyone over 5'8" can fit.

  5. I love this stuff. I can't wait until they start repopping a Sedan or Phaeton.

Your light years ahead going this route in my opinion.

I think it's priced in the ball park. If I was wanting another 32 PU I'd be a player. I think the originals will continue to bring good money based on condition. I'm on my 4th deuce pu and have been fortunate to find good complete cabs here in the Midwest. I had to step up for my last cab, 6000.00 and a 2000mile round trip to get it but total body work was under 20 hr's. Media blaster said he'd never seen nicer. It's great when companies like UP take the gamble on parts like the deuce cab and 5 window.

I know this is a really old thread, but (and I'm always late to the party) I just found out that United Pacific never actually produced any ***embled truck bodies. I understand they are making all the panels. (That's where the money is at) But you can't buy an ***embled body due to the high cost.
Now I'm intrigued. How much would it cost to buy 1 of all the panels? How many hours to ***emble? How hard could it be? (famous last words)

    Hmmm..........

  10. Figure out what would be the cost of having the body work done by a GOOD QUALITY body shop on your project verses an UPC body and bed. At $ 125.00 and up per hour, the cost of the UPC body does not seem too bad., Plus add in the original cost of your project. Another thing to think of, do you want to drive the truck in the near future, or wait however long it will take at the body shop.

32-34 P/U's are neat but always thought it would be a winner if Brookville as they have most of the pieces or someone would produce 30-31 Ford Model A steel Coupe bodies. Getting harder to find nice ones and the market would support $8500.-10K. Just a thought.

I always wanted to see one of their 32 pickup/commercial grille shells as they did list a correct 1 piece setup like the originals. I wish they would have done that with 33/34 units as those are getting really hard to find nice examples of.

My scroll finger hurts just going down through their catalog picking out body parts https://upcarparts.com/collections/32-34-truck

We have a couple of members who ***emble Brookville bodies from a pallet load of parts who could probably give a reasonable estimate on time involved to ***emble a cab and have it ready for finish body work and paint prep. As with a lot of things you may pay more per hour for experienced and highly skilled work but in the end have to pay for less total hours.

I have a UP commercial 32 shell and it's about as good as it gets. I've been a 32 guy for over 50 years and side by side they look identical. Their 32 pickup parts are spot on. I also put 4 on their fenders on my 32 pickup and they were a bolt on. I've used several pairs of their 32 door latches and window regulators with excellent results. I guess to date everything 32 Ford wise I've gotten from UP had been of excellent quality. Well not quite everything, I had 32 five window body #11 which was ***embled overseas and wasn't very good. Needed enough work I sent it on down the road and bought an original and fixed it.

I recently sent UP a request for what they had and what they lacked to build a complete 32 pickup cab and had no reply.
