My coupe (avatar pic) is on AA rails.

    No splash aprons.

  11. That was my first time meeting Stogy- he drove down to the Rockton fairgrounds sort of at the last minute, for the Jalopy Jamup. I gave it some coverage, you can search Jalopy Jamup 2024. He seemed alright at the time, as much as any of us is alright…EDIT- I went back and saw you liked some of his coverage, so this is old news.

My first hot rod build. Started in 1961 and sold in 1970, wish I still had it. Scan_20241222.png Scan_20241222 (2).png

So many sweet rides in this thread! My '31 as few months ago. Getting ready for final squirt at the moment. If you check out the build thread you will see it's been through some "development" during the build.

My favorites of all time are the Ewing Iron Duke poweered roadster, ( just stunning to see in person). This car left a permanent impression and Nutrockers flatty powered roadster.

Early '70s, built this '31 A Coupe while I was in college. Buick V6/auto/10 bolt. Never got to finish it...had to sell it to pay for another year of tuition. b31a.jpg

Picking on not any of the above Model As, why would anyone plunk a silly aluminum plate on the running boards that already have rubber surfaces that have the same function for scraping snow or mud. They sure break up a sleek view of a nice car.

So here is the car I wanted when I was 10 (1964) and finally built and finished in 2023! Everything available in 1964 except the overdrive transmission. A long term dream is a powerful thing. sYURGxaKRFqEjKvSnBTztQ.jpeg
