1966 and 1967 were some high water marks for Nova styling. Beautiful proportions on these cars!

The pinnacle of Nova performance was a result of dealers like Yenko and Baldwin taking things up a level. 11 second cars directly off the show room floor! Note that Yenko continued to use the 'Deuce'' name even after Chevrolet stopped calling the cars Chevy II in '68.

'74 nova street/strip car we bought a while back. It was pretty rough so we rebuilt everything. Cruised it for a couple years but never did get to the track. Sold it when we started getting into Ford coupes. New owner had it running 11.0's first time at the dragstrip. Maybe I shoulda kept this one... nova.jpg

It's hard to grasp that post 65 Chevy II's/Novas were considered off topic but I get it, we need structure, so glad Ryan put this forum in place, we need to continue supporting it.

Here's one many don't even know existed, the 1966 Canadian version of the Nova, called the Acadian Canso, this is a real rare one.
An original unrestored 327/350 hp (L79) engine with a few non correct components.
A quick way to spot an original Canadian built car is the body color painted firewall, U.S. built cars were painted black.
