    Guys & Dolls,
Here's the deal. I've been getting a couple of weird emails thru eBay to my hotmail account stating that I had something listed, when I really did not! They attempted to utilize my businesses account and I awoke up to 15 emails regarding electronics, laptops & camera equip,(and this relates to racing equip how?)

So I watch as eBay suspends my acct. I email their "contact" and notify them of the fraud. I about have a sh*t when I have all of these ?'s from these poor unsuspecting buyers who were about to be scammed out of their hard earned dough! I email them warnings to NOT BID, and advise them that "Items have been removed!"

Has this ever happened to any other HAMBers? I am pretty pissed off right now as this cost me my trip to the lakes today as my business & reputation is more important and if this could have not caught,
there'd be no speed equip coming from me, Just CA. state license plates=lol!

Big brother needs to figure out a way to deal with these f*ckheads!
I already have my own way="Tie em to the car & drag em"!
Alot of people get scammed electronically. On one hand this computer age is a godsend on the other it is a nightmare!.

If you see something with my companies info listed on ePay, give me a heads up, because I never have had the opportunity to use this acct as a seller yet.
Just figure that I'd let you guys/dolls whats up!
    Kill a hacker/scammer when you find em=10pts!

Are you sure you are dealing with eBay OR a scammer that tricked you into thinking you are dealing with eBay to get into your account. I NEVER believe an email is from eBay, just forward whatever comes to spoof@eBay 99.9% are fake.

  3. i delete EVERY email thats says it's from ebay. if it real , there will be a copy of it in your messages when you sign onto ebay

NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN A EMAIL THAT SAYS IT FROM EBAY..NEVER!

funny thing is most of the phishing emails I get about ebay come in on a different email account than the one that I use for ebay.

    To repeat:

NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN A EMAIL THAT SAYS IT FROM EBAY..NEVER!

Not exactly sure??? eBay suspended the acct. Allegedly eBay suspended like 25 listings. I went to check and the are not there???
It shows"Items no longer listed" so I can never be sure without dealing with someone face to face or by phone & taking names & ref#'s. I don't need anybody thinking that I am trying to scam anyone. I do what I can to keep everything afloat. I don't need some scammer/hacker pulling the cork out of my boat-Lol!
I have a copy of all of the emails that I send back ith warnings so I will see what occurs.=again="not out of touch!"

this just happened to me last week. before i even noticed the *many* emails with questions regarding the 'too good to be true' campers, RVs, etc for sale, ebay killed my account and removed them all.

reached out to ebay, they had me change my password, and they reinstated my account. they say this happens all the time.

i have no idea how someone got my old password to pull this off. it wasnt an easy guess password....

    spineless internet scamming weasels suck.

Same deal here,But I don't think that I'll do another under the companies name. Sh*t-I hate what ebay has done to this deal anyway.

sam thing happened to me, i bit not realizing and next thing i know i've got 42 Louis Vuitton handbags for sale on my acct. the thing is, if you read the email and scroll over, but not click, the link in the email you'll see it doesn't go to ebay, it goes to whatever site the hacker is using to get your info.

If it doesn't show up in your "My Ebay" messages, it ain't legit... I always go there first if there is any doubt.

One new wrinkle... I've recieved is an E-mail supposedly from PayPal saying that a new E-mail address has been added to my account. I never respond.
