Hot Rods 1932 five window , lost in time

    Wonder if anyone can help identify this old hot rod. From Brea Calif. I was told it was a show car, drag car and magazine car in the early 50s parked in 61. Owner passed. Got very little info when I bought it.

    my files are to big won’t let me load them, it has an early Buick nailhead w 6 strombergs

    Steering wheel and dash had a gold base under candy red or was it blended gold to red

    There's no better way of knowing what a Hotrod was back then with that unmolested excellence you have found...to think that was tucked away from the masses the year before I was born...

    @HotRodJoe454 did you get any vintage pics from the estate. Maybe in a kind way ask the family. Time is of the essence.

    Well that's not uncommon really...I guess this is a History / Provenance Thread of sorts. It deserves a Thread as many rides in the classified do. It archives it in a forum as opposed to a deleted ad... It's up there in price too...no surprise really. I hope it gets to good place and pays us a longer visit...or he decides to get it going and experiences 1959 all over again and enjoys it for a year or two.
