rear tires a bit fat and air cleaner looks like something you might see on a motion camaro or something but the rest looks about right to me.

Rear tires not too fat, just too short...

Yep, this one did it for me too. I just couldn’t fight it any longer, in ‘66 I started building a T in high school metal shop. Pontiac powered just like that one.

i should clarify i don't think it looks bad it's just not in keeping with the prevailing aesthetic preferred on the hamb. at least they aren't pro street steam rollers.

(just want to add that bit about what's frowned upon here is just my impression.)

I can hear it now; Miss Judy say "See, tall shifter!":D
Neat how it's ram horn, drops down then swings out. It's a low spot in the middle, though.

i kinda like the buckets with manifolds. some anyway. sadly, my windsor ford project wouldn't be as appealing as a smc with ram horns. i like those fenton/tiger manifolds but super rare and pricey.

  13. A big improvement to me would be it sitting in My Shop.

Yeah SBF Fords never came with good looking manifolds. The Hi-Po units look ok and some late 90's truck manifolds are "ok" but mostly they look like they belong on tractors. Y-blocks had good looking manifolds on some models.

  15. The young man in the jacket looking into the T dragster looks an awfully lot like Jim Shores of: Duncan & Shores, Shores & Hess and "Fireball" Shores AA/GS on fuel match racer. Jim's '29 roadster shows up on the HAMB from time to time. Anybody?

Seasons Greetings fellas. I was at a BBQ a few years back in Sydney Australia when I was given this photo of a T bucket from an ol fella who built it in the 60's. Shitty pic. If someone could turn it around that would be swell. Happy new year, cheers 20241230_222413.jpg

@RodStRace, Thanks mate. Maybe @Dago 88 can identify it as it is in his hometown. Although I suspect it could be too modern for this thread. As a kid I went to all the local indoor car shows in Sydney, but this one doesn't ring a bell for me. Cheers.

Nice rake, and good to see the headers parallel with the ground. Too often the collector is hanging down.

. Owned by Trevor Williams, built in the 70’s . I believe it got totaled in the 80’s. Same car although the number plate is different. IMG_3547.jpeg
