This coming September 26th and 27th, in Wichita_KS, the Midwest chapter of the Beatniks car club presents KUSTOMVILLE USA. Open to pre 64 rods and kustoms, this show will also include an inside art gathering and pinstriping gala. The show is going to be at the world famous Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita_KS.
I’ve been following along on Instagram since last summers event. Should be one heck of an event, a Mcphail gathering at THIS venue? They are gonna think aliens from the planet far out have landed!
We're not doing pre registration, we'll have a registration party at Artist at Large tattoo on Friday the 26th
@travisfromkansas video from last years get together. Anyone who’s been to a Mcphail get together knows this shin dig at the Cotillian should be amazing
Has me thinking now…. Happens to be the same day I host a reliability run. Maybe we should drive to Wichita?
I'm looking forward to it. There's a lot of events on that weekend but if you like hot rod art, it's where you need to be. The Cotillion is history setting there. I've been to many shows there. it's always memorable.
I'm gonna bump this 'cause it looks like a helleva good time. It is set up/work day for our Fremont swap meet so can't make it ... but I wanna!!
This sucks, I already had a conflict for the Oklahoma hot Rod Hundred, feels extra bad to miss two events even though I could’ve only attended one. Take lots of pictures!
You could have attended both if we would have decided to end at this event. But…you know that isn’t what we decided when it was all said and done.
Saw my first concert at The Cotillion when I was a kid - Paul Revere and the Raiders. I still go there for all sorts of shows, and I plan to hit this event.
Grew up in Hutch, so spent a lot of time at the Cotillion back in the day. Going back in November to see Joanne Shaw Taylor. Always stay in Old Town......couple blocks down from Artist At Large. Will have to go back for this next year for sure. Have a good show.
This time of year there are so many events on that weekend. The last art show was in 22 so if art is important, you will have an easy choice. The cotillion is a part of history so if you have never been there, you may find it interesting. So many choices, so little time.
I may do two events that day if my 51 does ok. I have to lead the Oklahoma Hot Rod Hundred that morning, but am thinking of heading to Wichita when it is over.
Yeah, Goodland has it's show, Hot Rod Hundred in OKC, Last Run in Ark City, Affordable Street Rods Open House, all within a couple of hour drive of Wichita the same day.
