We have our flights booked from Europe to these years GNRS and therefor wanted to know if there are any side events, open houses or pre partys are going on around the GNRS? Think walden´s speedshop and lucky´s speedshop will hold pre partys (like they do every year?). But are there any other events going on? This could as well be more custom car or even lowrider related events. Appreciate your help, regards
Stokers open house on Thursday all day. Normally can stop by Kennedy Bros on Thursday, So-Cal and Early Ford Store in San Dimus. Walden told me he's doing an open house/party Sat. night. There;s more.
Joining. The other one who is flying with Shorty. Also thanks from my side already. Luckys unfortunately closed, as far as I know. Shorty, I think Walden already had the party on Saturday, but we went to the Montanas Cowboy Bar Does anyone know if Moon or Galpin doing open houses or a party?
I had never hear of Moon or Galpin doing parties for this. Bother are a long drive from Pomona. if you wer heading out to Galpin. You might as well go to Bob's Burbank. But even it's a good 45mins out from Pomona. Mooneyes is a daytime only thing. You should call for hours because they are usually closed that weekend to setup at the show. The are also another 45 in the other direction. Check for maybe Sat night after parties In San Dimas. Which is nearby. I forget the shop out there.
Thanks Abe, yes, we also thought about going to bob's in burbank. We're over for 10 days, with ending the trip with the GNRS. So we'll check with moon or galpin outside the GNRS days. Don't know about the shop in San Dimas for a Saturday party. The last 3 timed we were there, we always ended up in the Montanas Square/Linedance Bar in San Dimas So Cal is around the corner of the Monatanas. Never knew that... They have the open house on thursday so, I think we'll be around in San Dimas for open houses on thursday.
Thanks to all for the answers. Let´s see on which party we´ll end up, but I think we´ll have a good timer there
I’d think anything west of the I-5 and north of the 10 will be full of traffic due to all the fire detours. Might want to talk with a local to get advice.
