Race cars don't have mufflers!

 

Working on the plumbing.
1946 GMC. No, we're not using that motor.

 

You make me wish I had not gotten rid of my '40 Chevy pickup. Come to think of it so did the guy I sold it to.

 

We always regret the ones we sell.

 

We got a fender and running board on today. The fender welt went on easier than I thought it would.

 

Looks great. At first the zip ties made the roll cage look like bamboo. It worked for the Japanese Zero.

 

Throttle linkage complete. 46 gmc.

 

I don’t know your plans for the throttle rod hole but a stock rubber Chevrolet foot start kick plunger “accordion” seal always worked for me until I went to a cable.

I got the last body piece painted and Gas pumper mocked up the motor.
We're getting ready for an indoor race car show at the end of January.

 

So cool seeing the very cool "CLIFFORD RESEARCH" Manifold, now that is true high class!

 

Marsha you and Frank are proof that back yard Hot Rodding is still alive and well. The workman ship being done is outstanding without spending a ton of money. I'm looking forward to seeing the truck in person in July.

Those headers work. The size of the pipe may be something to play with.
