Hi, Ken, any progress on the switch up with the front radius rods and shocks? Dust up is only two months away now and won't be on in 2026. I just had a big photo shoot on my T for the ''NZ Rodder'' Mag, may be a big feature as they are talking around 14-15 pages but that includes my Belly Tank i'm building. It's due out this month. Your car would be a good example for a feature ! Cheers, JW
Am looking forward to that mag article JW. Dragged my roadster out of winter storage - its now in bits after front end redesign. Will post photos soon. Have registered for the Dust Up so this year going or not.
Noddy announced that at the last Dust Up, not sure why unless i got it wrong. Ken, great that you have entered again and looking forward to seeing you and car and by the way about a third of the cars racing last time were Banger powered. Terry, the mag isn't out yet so i,m not sure how it turned out and i will be sending you a copy when i get it. JW
It was great fun and really great to meet Ken and see his awesome Roadster for real, a real credit for insight and build...just way cool. JW
What a great day. Thanks for the photos - great to catch up and look forward to seeing your roadster next year.
Thanks for the kind words and the photos Jeremy. I took 3 photos during the day but none of my car. It was great to finally meet and see your rpu. Such a relaxing and well organized event. would be very sad for it not to continue.
It was a very relaxing day but my shoulders hurt a bit after, I have more photos of your car that i will put up here soon. I found the biggest thing as a newbie last year was i didn't know what to expect of the event but was fully prepared this year except for the mud on the practice and 1st round. I was the only racer there that got 5 races in as the 39 Deluxe Coupe didn't see the flag and i pulled up behind him at his start line, after we did race they sent me out again straight away with someone else.. cool !! It's going to be a big job to clean all the dirt out from places. There are some good photos of your car on their face book page. I did notice your car got a lot of attention and as it should..... it's gorgeous!! Cheers, JW
Thanks Six Ball It was great to finally get it out after 11 years gestation. it is part of me now but like children I am now planning the next build. Kume
