I'm not into full kustoms, real or not, in my eyes, the chop didn't do anything to improve the looks of it, but then again, regardless of the category, I've never liked the looks of a 55-57 Chevy with a chopped top.

 

My car during college. I bought it in June 1965 for $200, dumped the 283 and powerglide, installed the 327 and 3 speed from my 29 A Tudor, had it painted the color above, and drove it back to school in September.

Don't get me wrong I Love watching the S.E. G***ers etc.
But there are so many. Still it's a life. Better than, God forbid, the cr----r.

 

That shot brings back a memory from my high school days.
One winter I drove my mom to work in my 57 BelAir when her workmate was off, first ever experience driving in the snow, found out how fast a car could slide into the ditch.
Well, I had plans already for a repaint, happy ending though as my insurance was low due to the car "appearing" stock...............but not for long!
