Yeah lately I’m leaning toward the triple sidedrafts on the Stovebolt. It’s different. My “poorvette” with the matching corvette steering wheel.

One we had about a dozen years back. Had been built with XJ Jag F&R suspension and a 250 cube Chev six. So we upgraded it to a 350/700R4 and threw the chromies & whitewalls at it.

Its probably the best open road driver we have ever had. Jaguar did a great job in designing that suspension, and its pretty much an easy fit to an AD truck.

Sadly, a few financial crises were upon the horizon, so we sold it to bulk up our cash supplies, which was a huge mistake for two reasons 1) the crises never actually happened, and 2) a later owner decided that the truck needed fake patina, and I hate that stuff.

Still, it was his truck by then.

I don't think anyone can accuse my old Rusty the 46 chevy of not being cool here in this pic.

I did figure out he doesn't do well in 10 inches of snow, and neither do I- back in the shop we went.
I just fulfilled a 15 year dream on the old truck, that might mark me as a street rodder- I had a complete Vintage Air heat and cool system installed, so the wife will ride this summer with me and we can drive the old guy more. And I am going to give in and have a professional interior installed in the next month or so. It's been a faithful old beast and I enjoy it immensely so for once, I'm going to do it right and not get sidetracked on doing it myself.
