    Amen. Ive been saying it has to be below 700, 635 isnt bad at all! I see a lot of nay sayers but at 635 lbs in its stock form it stomps an 8 ba even one thats hopped up. Nobody knocks runnin an 8ba though ...

    Would have to agree Ford could have ended the flathead sooner. Evidence? The GAA V8. Aluminum heads and block, DOHC 32 valve, 1100 CID, flat plane crank, This was scaled down from A V12 which was conceived in 1940.

    May have been tough trying to bring a smaller version to the masses right after the war, however

    my brother has a Lincoln flower car or a homemade pickup with one of those motors. he thought it was home made. it was all covered in tarps when I saw it.
