I'm looking for recommendations of an automotive machine shop in western Washington. Ideally looking for north of Seattle, but willing to drive south if that's where the good stuff is.

I have the following engines that will need machine work: (in case that changes your recommendation)
    SBC - Rebuild of 383
SBF - Rebuild or build stroker
    427FE - Rebuild
Flathead - options wide open...if my block is good

    Thanks,
    Jess

Action machine on 175th and aurora would be my first choice. They won't touch the flathead. There is a guy at Sedro Whooley carquest that will work on flatheads. But he'll only do machine work, and wont assemble them. I have 2 v8s and a v12 in line. Hopefully he's good!

I've used Reed Auto Machine in Bellingham for all my cylinder head work for the last few years. I've had no problems with them, though they are always pretty busy.

I would add Autosport in Ballard. They have a penchant for older British cars but I've seen a 392 Hemi and a Ferarri engine being rebuilt in the shop. Brad at the counter can find just about any part you're looking for. https://autosportseattle.com/
