One of my greatest childhood memories is seeing a triple feature at the Drive in when I was around 10...the triple bill was amazing! Thief w James Caan & Jim Belushi, The Long Riders starring the Keach bros, the Quaid bros, 3 Carradine bros and some other brothers (?)!!!!...and The Driver w Ryan I'Kneel featuring some of the best car chases and stunts the '70's had to offer!...all 3 of the movies have absolutely stood the test of time but in 1980 to a 10 year old they were mind altering! Lying in a sleeping bag under a lifted '67 Ford 4x4 eating popcorn and joking with your best buddy as loud as you want! Later in life it was fun to bring girls and not watch the movie at all ha ha ha! So many good times! So when I heard the old Drive In was in it's final days before closing I packed up the family for the long drive with one main goal in mind...I had to film the intermission cartoon come hell or high water...

  7. We have one here. It's called the { Famly Drive In } It opened in 1956, and is still open. We took our kids there, and now we take the grandkids. 1245.jpg 1246.jpg .
