This time of year it might be hard to find a Hamb Hauler that would make that trip. The short route that Google maps gives isn't a fun trip towing a trailer this time of year. Screenshot (1922).png

This time of year that route can be lethal. I've picked up and dropped off a fair number of boats on trailers and even a toybox or two from and to California in the past. This time of year, I always took the southern route. I10 still can have weather challenges and snow in the panhandle isn't out of the norm either not to mention anywhere north of I70 is a snow/ice risk. I'm sure if someone was willing to make the haul you should know in advance that the route taken will probably not be the shortest route.

Most Haulers will not run that northern route until late spring earliest.
If you are not in any hurry, I'd wait until May-ish.
Even then, that route can get snow then too.
    Small window.
    No telling - it's freaky.

Or, I'd find a Hauler that is running south from CA through AZ, NM, TX up I 35 through OK, KS, MO, IA, Wisc

Bear in mind this is auction season. Most if not all the major carriers are tied up transporting cars/trucks from the northern states to Florida and Arizona. You might check with some of the brokers out there. Given you are looking for open transport you may find a carrier willing to take on the job.

  6. I have not transported over the passes between Nov 15th & March 15th (give or take) in probably 6 years. Just not safe enough for the customers car, my equipment or my health! I honestly don't like that route anyway, I would probably take the southern through Flagstaff regardless of time of year.

@Frames ....I am off the road until at least the 1st of March & my 1st trip already has one coming out of the San Diego area, but I will be glad to run the numbers & send you a P.M. with a cash on delivery price for comparison sake.

    God Bless

Deal direct! Brokers are not your friend. I live in an area that requires going over a couple of 10,000' passes. Reliable has been my go to for 20 years.
