    GasserTodd and deadbeat like this.
  10. Well . . . considering the only Model A I've ever "owned" (actually a "project car" that I never finished) was a '29 Hiboy Roadster on Deuce rails, I guess I better pick a '28-'29 roadster :)

Of course I love and appreciate the historically significant Bill Niekamp & Dick Flint roadsters:

. . . and I really dig my friend (the late :() Gary Meadors' "Flint tribute" roadster (built by my friend Steve Moal & his team at Moal Coachbuilders):

. . . and I certainly have a soft spot in my heart for my friend (the late :() Billy Burnham's ("butterscotch" & “Ol’ Blue”) '29 roadsters:

. . . but the roadster that still "DOES IT FOR ME" is Mark Morton's "RODZY" . . . in fact, I picked Morty’s roadster for my father's award (i.e., the "Deuce Bruce" Olson Memorial Award) at the 1993 Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, CA:

. . . and a more recent photo of "RODZY":

  15. Mark Morton's RODZY is one of my favorites too, as well as the others you posted. I've seen most, if not all of them in person. I was at Pleasanton the year "RODZY" showed up.

I just watched the Thom Taylor interview with Pete Eastwood about Rodzy at the 2019 GNRS. Worth a watch....

  19. Gordy - That's Les Erben’s RPU . . . but the photo was taken by @AndySS Southard Jr.

  20. Thanks for this! . . . I totally forgot about Thom's interview with @Pete Eastwood regarding RODZY.

Back in 2019, I posted it (and the other Thom Taylor interviews in the "Model A Room") in @J.Ukrop's The Celebrities TJJ Blog / thread.
