Trying to get some inspiration for cab mounts. I'm not wanting to go the traditional wood can mounts and looking to use rubber. I've seen a few people mention boat rollers and CJ body mounts. Thanks!
Energy Suspension makes a variety of different thickness rubber blocks for cab and body mounts. You can get them by the thickness you require, but it may take some looking. You can save a bunch of money if you just buy the rubber parts and can souse the washers and bolts your self. They really like to push the full body mounting kits, $$$. I'd do an online search for "body mount rubber kits". Lots of off road 4x4 places offering body lift kits from 1"- 3" on sale this time of the year.
I've done 4 32 pickups using the cab mounting block kits from Brads Wood Shop. Perfect sheet metal alignment, no problems. When I built my first 32 pickup I was so dumb I didn't even know about wood blocks so I made a series of tubular metal stands to get the cab to the right height. The wood blocks were much easier.

Any benefit to ride quality with wood blocks vs urethane bushings? I just purchased a CJ body bushing kit from Energy Suspension, it was less than $30 shipped on Amazon. Open to all options, whatever is best for the truck and the ride quality!
Just go with the wood blocks, rather than waste time trying to reinvent something when you can spend that time on something more productive on the project.
