   I have a Dana 44 which I am pretty certain came out of an older 1/2 ton ford. It’s got 19 spline axles and a passenger offset. Does this seem familiar to anyone?

   I believe the truck rearends were built so that both the right & left axles were the same length.
   That would leave the pinion off center.
