Hello ALL!!! I am the NEW Caretaker/Preservationist/Owner Of **** Roy's 32 5W coupe ,(303 OLDS/HYDRO ) built in 1956 in Windsor Ontario CANADA....**** Roy (d.2016) was still building up until his p***ing... This car was built in his one car barn with a dirt floor and was a SHOW car until 1968 when it was put away... Pulled out around 2006 and a couple owners and another 10 yr storage its in MY SHOP NOW!!!! Welcome any and all input... I WILL be adding more PHOTOs to this thread as i decide what to do and ENJOY it with you all... It was no VIRGIN to the CHOP and Cut and LEAD and BRAZE!! having been a 5W Chop with rear windows welded up, then a Roadster, then back to a 5W as it is now... That's alot of work on a Mill job and raising kids... Lets enjoy and share what you know...Im gonna post the youtube video from 2014 when it was up for sale in the SNOW of Michigan.... Thx Joey in SC 1932 ford DEUCE 2024.jpg 1932 ford 12.jpg 1932 ford 8.jpg 1932 ford 3.jpg 1932 ford 5.jpg

Priceless, you are so deserving of this blast from the past... Joey this look albeit they are all uniquely different was pretty popular back then... @Kid Rocker is reviving one right now...

I kinda dig the goofy frontend. It matches well with the rear and I would run it until the urge to change back to the traditional panels was too great.

Amazing that car could go through all those transformations and still survive!
    Love it.
    Glad you got it.

And it doesn't look like it's been cut on that many times and versions either.

That is a cool freaking car. And fairly local to me too.

YES SIR!!! It made it thru 50 years sitting inside.....68-2006 and 2014-2024.... of course it was inside in the middle while having some work done 06-14...lol so that's almost 60 yrs and maybe less than 5 miles if that....

Yes it is pretty amazing that all that happened in 56-68 when it was put away....I cant fathom the hours in the barn and working in the mill as a painter... its cold AF in Canada..lol

I DO LOVE the goofy grill too..but I also like the 32 shell.. IF IGOT this correct, the goofy duck tail was cut off and he didn't finish the rear fenderwork.. Or it was done when the quarters were repaired around 2006ish... thank you

Why NOT get an extra 303 OLDS with machine work done for a spare...THAT WAY always ensuring "****IE" don't wind up *******ized with one of my many sbc/bbc on stands here... 20250330_221826.jpg

I’d be restoring it to its former show car glory. It’s too cool not to!

  22. No idea how I missed this ! I remember drooling over that you tube video that's been posted above - what a phenomenal ol hot rod !
And to have all those pictures from its early years as well, that's rare !
You sound like a great caretaker for it - Enjoy !

Thanks to Steve Sroka, Loris S.C. another rodder and Avid Early OLDS connisieur... He drove over an hour to meet my wife an daughter at the beach and hand deliver this gorgeous 4 x 2 intake that he decided he wasn't going to use.. Gave him some extra dough for his travels and consideration... Gonna let OTHERS know when People do the right thing in this hobby!!!! Thank you Steve!!!! 303 OLDS 4 x 2 intake.jpg 303 OLDS 4 x 2.jpg

20251219_123045[1].jpg GAS TANK TALK!!!!!!!!!! So i have seen the Tanks tank in several cars including Kidrockers 32 build... Ive read almost everything i can find on here about tanks in the trunk, my 32'..it is heavy channeled so i got a short height trunk... This one was behind the seat/metal trunk wall..But under the back deck area so it had a fully upholstered trunk.... I cant exactly make it for a MODEL T 1920-1925 because of the filler neck position..... ALTHOUGH it looks very similiar to the OVAL tanks under the T seat..... Any thought or comments are appreciated.... IM GONNA RADIATOR SHOP CLEAN IT but i dont think its gonna LIVE!!!!! And i aint puttin that cream **** inside either... What SAY YOU??????/ 20251217_123943[1].jpg 20251217_123943[1].jpg 20251219_130108[1].jpg 20251219_130116[1].jpg 20251219_130126[1].jpg 20251219_130136[1].jpg

Yeah it doesn’t have the ribs in it, maybe it’s been narrowed?

The tank looks Model T to me, and the cap is identical to the one on my Ironhead Sportster. FWIW I've used Red-Kote to line tanks before and it works excellently.
