We all looked like that in the late 80s early 90s.
It sucked when I was on a creeper though.

  3. I have no pics of the customized '55 Convertible I had back in Cleveland in '63-'64. I did all rust repairs with fiberglass and bondo. The headlights were without eyebrows and frenched. The front and back bumpers were Pontiac splits. She was nosed and decked, molded grille shell, wide whites, painted a maroon body with a brand new white Naugahyde top.

Then my brother did some welding on a seat bracket on his '56 Ford Convertible in my fathers repair shop with my car parked behind it and the local police chief's personal '50 Ford 2-door next to mine. Long story short, he closed the garage up and next morning I came out to go to work and the garage was full of smoke from the burning of my brother's car. My car survived, but the top was now medium gray, the fiberglass was bubbled up front, and the parking light lenses melted and drooped down to the bumpers.

The worst thing was I had a first date with the woman who became my wife! We went to a play at the Cleveland Playhouse in the cruddy car. I gave the car to my brother who soon junked it and I got my first new car, a '64 Valiant V100 with 273 V8 and 4-speed. We still talk about it today and will be celebrating 60 years in May!

That's my story and I'm skickin' to it.

@Moriarity The Aztec sure would look good in your driveway, with your other quad headlight tri-5's.

As far as recent builds go, I have always liked this one out of Austin Speed Shop.

Still regret selling this one with the 392. Will look at a potential replacement next week
