Folks Of Interest Anyone getting text messages from Eric Snyder of SEMA?

Wanting to add your name to something in Trumps nominees?
Got one yesterday, another today.
844 area code.
Link at the bottom to “add
Name”.
I thinking spam/scam, don’t know how SEMA would have my cell number.

 

Anyone texting you that you are not expecting a text from is pretty much a scam. Block and move on.

 

Scammers can mask numbers with a fake txt iden***y.

 

Just reread before blocking the number SEMA was in all lower case letters.

Doing a quick search on the number usually shows if it is a legit number of is marked as a scam number.
I've got TMobile and the system has a scam alert built in that is real accurate.

 

Never get texts, but do get emails.

 

Seems like it could be spam or a scam, especially since they have your number without you giving it to them. Be careful with links like that. I’d suggest not clicking it and just deleting the message.

 

Yes, un-deleted them to also block it.
I get the emails here and now.
That’s fine, SEMA has always been spelled with caps for abbreviation.
