Hello all, I currently have an early 50s 270 with an oil bath cleaner. I put the first line on and realized it had never been flared. I would really like to ditch these lines all together as what I read they are GMC specific and seem very hard to find. What are my options? Thanks

If that is the same fitting as the hard lines on your engine, you need these fittings from Edelmann. Then you can just make a hard line.

That looks like a "Ford Nut" to me. Probably not the same.

Ahh, makes sense. So these are probably compression fittings? No flare needed?

Yes, compression fitting for 3/16" line. Use steel.
