Been having a problem with a 48 flatly stalling out randomly. Been chasing it down. Running a small mighty fuel pump and regulator at 2.6 psi on 3 super 97 carbs. Just change micro filter at pump. Class bowl had very small amount of fines in it. But I heard the regulator tic yesterday re pressurizing the fuel system. Just thinking it’s a fuel problem. It will restart run a tad rough sometimes drive off and sometimes stumble again. Random crap. If it would just stop I could isolate the problem. Any ideas. Thanks

A couple things wrong here: first is the 9super7 carbs. Next, the regulator should be set to 2 or below.

My regulator makes a ticking sound as the lines pressurize. Usually if I haven’t driven the car for a day or more.

I’ve had it at 1-1/2 psi . Added more with no leaks or flooding pass my needles. Just having this driving around for miles then park & eat. Then it’s about 10 miles or so at times it just sputters out ! note: a few times in places not meant for stopping.? then it restarts. thinking thus the pumps failing. I'm still chasing it. thanks
