Man tough call. If they are just giving them away the 3 window obviously. If I have to pay for them the 35 panel truck. I’ve been wanting an old but presentable truck or panel to put in the driveway for years. Haul the kids, groceries, dead trees, camping gear old ford parts. What’s not to like? also the signage is fantastic. Kansas City is full of hot rod and bike meet ups at little coffee spots
I've had five Model A's but always wanted a Victoria, Ford only made the early Victorias from 1930 to 1934 and would be happy with any of them! As far as I'm concerned it was one of the best body styles in the early 30's.
That’s prize fighter Jack Dempsey in the 3W. I’d have to go with the ‘35 Panel too, there was one in my neighborhood years ago and I always thought they were great looking trucks.
Definitely the panel truck! 1. Because it's classic and very cool. 2. The seat can be adjusted and slid back. 3. The overall practicality of it, the ability to haul stuff in it and if need be, a place sleep!
I'd take the panel truck as well. then I'd go out and collect Ben Hur coffee items and fill up the back.
No strings attached, I'd take the 3 window, sell it and find a few projects. If I had to drive it as is, I think the woodie would be a ton of fun to drive around with friends. If I had to build, the 29 roadster would look great slammed with mags tucked into the fenders
Hello, As a standard choice, we have always wanted an SBC powered Model A woody. It must have a new appropriate modern chassis and running gear, along with A/C. I can do good woodwork and from the time we bought the project version of the 327 powered 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery, our first choice was a 283 powered 1946 Ford woody in San Diego. But, there was little to do on that 46 woody, as far as security and cruising abilities. But, if we got a Model A woody as pictured, it would be a long road ahead to convert it to a modern running old station wagon with the ability to keep up with the current trends in driving and comfort compared to the latest station wagons. The main thing for the Model A woody would (pun intended) be sealed or roll down windows with secure locks on all doors. Open concept is not our mode of driving and enjoyment when we have to leave the hot rod sight unseen. So, convenience in having a modern power for all things necessary to enjoy driving 1000s of miles without any worries, as if the Model A woody just came off of the custom factory build lanes. Then, yes, that is our first choice. But, also with new tires and wheels, along with new adjustable bucket seats for a comfortable driving position. The rear seat would fold and allow a flat surface area to the tailgate. Yes, it would have the space of a sedan delivery, but with glass windows all around, no blind spot as in all sedan deliveries. Jnaki But, to keep all things even in our family choices, my wife would probably like the open top 34 roadster as she has a “thing” for convertibles. From the time her mom bought a 47 Buick convertible back in 1950 Pacoima when they moved here from OKC to this day, they have been on her “to buy” list. Practically, it would not happen anytime soon, as she loves to travel, but not in an open roadster or convertible. Having driven in a noisy old convertible was not the most enjoyable thing…YRMV Actually, if this were a choice, my wife would select it as her choice for a "Ford-Over-The-Road."
Since no one has picked it, and it is languishing in the back row next to a pile of old tires, I will take the 34 cabriolet. The picture of the 32 is a better shot, that really catches your eye, but…
