Loves me some vintage Mavericks and Comets! I have come close to buying a few over the years; I think doing a street/strip build on a solid one would be a lot of fun and inexpensive, too.

 

Not so sure about the "inexpensive" part. I'm going broke building mine.

 

Miss having Chip @ need louvers ? on here. The red one was his, with characteristic Chip-ness, a little low, tucked meats and nice and clean. Dig the plaid interior. Blue one was posted at his fb page.

In Brazil, they offered a Maverick station wagon...can you imagine a Gapp & Roush version?! Also, quite a few races early Baja events....

 

Maverick station wagon, wild, never knew these existed.

 

Only in Brazil. They are coach built, on existing 4 door sedans. They also have coach built convertibles.

 

This one used to Belong to an acquaintance, Dick Brewbaker, before he became a Senetor, and sold it.
