If this works this is my old 55 Buick Special that I stuck the engine and trans out of a 55 super sedan in back in 1966. I burned up the Dynaflo twice and blew the rear end once. That was with a stock engine.

Truth is I just don't see what you plan as being viable with a 322 and the Dynaflo. That trans was never noted for being strong and the torque drive pretty well means to get strength you have to swap transmisisons including buying a spendy trans adapter and then build a new rear suspension as the torque tube is half of the suspension on those cars.

That was a nice ride. And no, I am going to leave the Buick alone. The boogie bird though will be getting a make over. I am getting my 383 project engine back. Will drop that in....

I think OP has bought more cars the last two weeks than I've bought the last two decades.

Well there are reasons, lost my job so while I had financing secured I needed to move before the bank wanted new "pay stubs". But I have my federal pension. So I am good. And now have time to get **** sorted before it's 120F again.

Does he want to trade “Poems”? I mean it’s a serious question! He might have the words and the brain power to bring me to my knees.

I hope you are doing well, old friend.

  14. If you're looking for a 4bbl intake and carb off of a 1955 Buick 322 I have one available. If I'm out in left field you can just ignore me. I'm putting this on my 322:

Yeah I would put that on as well. The 264 seems to be running good on the 2 barrel after I leaned her out a little. I had better leave things alone, neither is charging and drinking too much beer

I have a couple 55 Buicks, first thing I do is get rid of that dynaflow and torque tube, not exactly something you can find parts for if you have an issue on a road trip. Here is how I do my 55 ch***is.

The 55 is too nice to destroy. Was thinking about it. The Dynaflow is a descendant of Nazi killers. GM developed it for the Hellcat tank destroyer.

I will take my chances lol...she drives so fine. Cruises at 80 with no issues. 1/4 throttle. Sounds good at idle w a flowmaster 10 but am going to straight pipe her. Or I am bidding on some exhaust electric cutouts and just straight pipe from there. Needs more Christine growl!!
